The RF Brand Multi-Voltage Vehicle Loop Detector detects metallic objects that enter the field generated by an induction loop. This detector automatically adapts to input voltages from 12 VDC to 240 VAC, so installers do not need to match the power supply to a specific detector rating. Its display simplifies setup by showing the optimal sensitivity setting for detecting a vehicle near the loop. The unit offers ten sensitivity levels for precise adjustment. It includes relay contact outputs for vehicle presence and a second set of relay contacts for auxiliary functions. The auxiliary output can be configured for loop fault indication (pulse on entry or exit) or for the “detect on stop” feature. Additional features include automatic sensitivity boost (ASB), delay, selectable fail-safe or fail-secure operation, and options for infinite or normal (5-minute) presence detection. Four selectable frequency settings help prevent interference between multiple loops in the same area.
